Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Patchy sunning to cloth. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge-wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Moderate sunning to spine.

Jacket is in good clean condition with minor signs of scuffing, and remains unclipped. Boards are lightly stained but are largely undamaged and in good condition. Slight tanning and foxing to the textblock with the main body of text clean and free from marks. With stunning photographs of Australia and the local wildlife, this is an interesting reference text.

The authors travel west from the Cocos Islands to Mauritius, the gold fields of South Africa, retracing the stpes of Matthew Flinders. They nake their way up Africa's east coast including Zanzibar, Tanga and Mombasa. Size: 8vo.
