Présentation de l'éditeur :
Vedic Mathematics For Schools (Book 1) by James T. Glover is a book that teaches the techniques involved in Vedic Mathematics to school children. This book has been designed specifically for solving problems in different areas of mathematics, and is meant for children aged around eleven years. A major portion of this book has been devoted to solving problems in arithmetic using Vedic Mathematics. The book also glosses over many other mathematical problems related to concepts that can be solved using the principles of Vedic mathematics, including equations, approximations, ratio and proportion, parallel lines, triangles, and the geometry of coordinates. After establishing the fundamentals of Vedic mathematics in an understandable way, the focus is shifted to the method of distinction or elimination. For a given problem, the book explains how the solution can be found using different methods, but maintains that the best solution is one that is short and simple.
